A steaming cup of coffee on a world map, a tour of our single-origin coffees

Meet Our Single-Origin Coffees: A Journey Around the World, One Cup at a Time

At Al Di Là, our name means "beyond" in Italian, and nothing takes you beyond your kitchen quite like a single-origin coffee. Every bag tells the story of one place: its soil, its altitude, its weather and the farmers who grow it.

What does "single origin" mean?

A single-origin coffee comes from one country or region instead of being blended from many. That means you taste the true character of where it was grown. Some are bright and fruity, some are deep and chocolatey, and every one is a little adventure. All of ours are roasted to order in small batches.

Latin America: smooth, sweet and chocolatey

If you love a classic, comforting cup, start here.

  • Brazil Santos: an elegant, smooth cup with cocoa notes. A perfect everyday coffee.
  • Colombia: dried orange, berry and chocolate, from smallholder farmers near Medellín.
  • Guatemala: dark chocolate, bright fruit and butterscotch from the hills of Antigua.
  • Costa Rica: sweet apple, raisin and honey, grown in volcanic soil.
  • Honduras: caramel, spice and brown sugar, a medium-dark crowd-pleaser.
  • Mexico: chocolate, cinnamon and green apple from Chiapas and Oaxaca.
  • Nicaragua: cocoa with floral and citrus tones.
  • Peru: salted caramel, silky sweetness and a touch of citrus.
  • Peru Decaf: all the caramel smoothness, none of the caffeine. Perfect for evenings.

Africa: bright, fruity and floral

For the adventurous palate, African coffees are full of surprises.

  • Ethiopia Natural: milk chocolate, fruit and caramel from the birthplace of coffee itself.
  • Kenya: bright and effervescent, with orange, lemon and floral notes.
  • Tanzania: pear, jasmine and strawberry, delicate and elegant.
  • Uganda: floral and chocolatey, with dark fruit notes from the slopes of Mount Elgon.

Asia-Pacific: bold, earthy and rich

Love a deep, full-bodied cup? These islands deliver.

  • Bali Blue: dark chocolate, molasses and brown sugar, a customer favorite.
  • Sumatra: syrupy body, dark chocolate, dried fruit and an earthy finish that lingers.
  • Papua New Guinea: caramel, honey and fruit from small cooperatives in the highlands.
